ALPINE LITE-TOUCH MODEL
This Retractable screen door is the most popular model with our customers. We call it our "LITE-TOUCH" model because just a gentle sideward pressure on the handle will open or close it. Once the pressure is removed, the Retractable stays in place.
ALPINE MAGNETIC CLOSURE MODEL
This Retractable screen door is our conventional model and incorporates a full length magnetic seal to secure the door in the closed position.
ALPINE “SINGLE-SWEEP” MODEL FOR FRENCH DOORS
The Alpine “SINGLE-SWEEP” model for French doors is in a class of its own. Because of the counter-balance feature, only a single screen door is necessary. As a result, when the screen is drawn across the entrance way, there are no visible joints or connections.
The homeowner has a clear unobstructed view. An added bonus is that it works just like our “Lite- Touch” model; you open the screen door as far as needed... It stays where you leave it and to close it, it’s right there, you don’t have to reach 3 or 4 feet over to retrieve the screen.
ALPINE RETRACTABLES FOR FRENCH DOORS
For double or French doors, two Retractable Screens are installed -- one on each side of the entry. The two screens are pulled across the opening and held together with full length magnets. The screen on the passive side of the double doors is held in position with slide bolts.

ALPINE RETRACTABLES FOR HINGED WINDOWS
Our window retractables represent a new generation of screens for hinged windows. With conventional screens, usually one or two small plastic doors are installed in a fixed screen so that the homeowner can open or close the window. These plastic doors are ugly and often have to be replaced within 3 to 4 years due to sun damage.
With the Alpine window retractable, the screen is only visible when you need it and disappears when you don’t. The end result, you get the best of everything; fresh air, a clear view, protection from insects and an attractive product with a long life-span.
