How to Measure for a Retractable Screen Door Retractable Screen Systems for single doors, French doors and windows

If the door swings into your home, measurements should be taken outside and similarly if the door has an outward swing, measurements will be taken inside.
Most of our Retractable doors are mounted inside the door jamb. For our Counter Balance model, the door jamb depth should be at least 4 inches, and 2 inches for our Magnetic closing model. If these dimensions aren't available, the retractable screen should be surface mounted outside the jamb.
Make the four measurements (A,B,C,D) as indicated. The measurements should be tight and taken close to the door jamb corners. The dimensions should be recorded in inches and 1/16" fractions.
The images shown below are of basice or generic door styles. There are variations in the individual styles and for this reason digital photos of your door would be of tremendous help in manufacturing your Retractable screen.
